December 21, 2005 - The twins weigh 4.8lbs. (Chuck) and 4.15lbs. (Wit), it could be any day now. The doctor is anxious for them to come, but Frankie wants to keep them in until they are ready to come out. I am getting really excited and really nervous at the same time. I couldn't sleep last night. I keep trying to picture what it will be like, but I have no idea what to expect. The latest development is that Frankie will not have the babies in a normal labor and delivery room, it has to be done in the O.R., because of the risk involved. That makes me more nervous too. Please keep us in your prayers, Farrah, Chuck, Wit and me, I need to be strong and have wisdom to help and coach my sister. She is very, very brave indeed. Posted by Picasa

December 13, 2005 - Wow, have you ever seen anything like this? If you put your hand over the photo (where the belly is) It looks like a normal person, and then you remove your hand and viola, twins! Every now and then I will catch a glimpse of the belly and just be so amazed. I have really never, ever seen anything like this. Frankie has not one single stretch mark, no line, nothing. Her skin is beautiful, just very stretched out. It is really so amazing. I think that she does "pregnant" better than anyone. Posted by Picasa

December 9, 2005 - We spent Friday night "out on the town" we had dinner and wondered around Market Street. We did a little Christmas shopping and had a ball. Frankie looked beautiful as always. These days every time the phone rings I jump, but she is holding up well. Posted by Picasa

December 5, 2005 - Well, it could be any day now. The doctor has taken Frankie off of bedrest and told her that she can run a marathon now if she would like. The babies are exceptional and far above average in weight. Each one weighs approximately 4 1/2 lbs. The Mommy-to-be is holding up well and enjoying her last night of peace, although she is not sleeping so well anymore with body parts going numb as she dozes. I know she must be very uncomfortable, but she is such a trooper. She is wrapping TONS of presents, has been shopping all day and scappin' all night and wears me out half the time! She is going to be an incredible Mom! Posted by Picasa

November 5, 2005 - The day of shower number 3. Hosted by me, her sister, it was held at Farrah's home, so everyone was able to view the nursery. It is beautiful. Frankie has amazing skills for decorating and her nursery is really unique and has her flair right down to the chandelier light fixture. Posted by Picasa

This one is taken the same time as the last, but in this photo you can see how much it is just her stomach that has changed. No stretch marks and the only time you know she is pregnant from behind is by the way she walks. I call her Mops (March of the Penguins). Posted by Picasa

November 7, 2005 - I believe that Frankie has now surpassed most pregnant women in size. This belly is huge! She has only gained 40 lbs. and it is all baby. From the back you can not tell that she is even pregnant, but when she turns around, it is ALL you see! She is so beautiful and she never complains. I know she is uncomfortable but she just seems to always be happy. Even though she was put on bedrest, she took it like a trooper. Posted by Picasa

November 2, 2005 - Shower number 2. Eleanor hosted a wonderful shower for Frankie in Corpus Christi, Texas. In attendance; Eleanor, Amanda, Jessica, Lindsey, Krista, Joey, Sara, Katie, Gi Gi (June) and Mee Maw (Mitzi). Posted by Picasa

October 15, 2005 - Now it is looking really big. Frankie can tell which one is moving and now calls them by name. Baby A is on the left and his name is Chuck and Baby B is on the right and his name is Wit. They are named after our father, Chuck and his best friend who died years ago, Whit. Everyone that knew Chuck and Whit together have told Frankie that she is just asking for trouble naming them after those two. Posted by Picasa

September 7, 2005 - About a month later and the first kicks are felt. I made Frankie come over an let me watch. I could see the babies moving even from the outside! It was awesome. Posted by Picasa

August 5, 2005 - The first belly shot. Frankie is about 4 months along. Posted by Picasa

Frankie's first shower was held this summer at our sister Jenny's lake house in Michigan over the 4th of July. We had a good time and especially enjoyed this shower game where you have to guess what "flavor" the poopy diaper is. It is really mashed up candy bars, but the effect is pretty gross, or funny, depending on who you ask. Posted by Picasa

I know, I know, I can't believe it either, Frankie is having a baby. Wait, scratch that Frankie is having two babies at once! This photo was taken by a couple we met in my favorite coffee shop, Peet's Coffee on Ventura Blvd, when I flew out to Los Angeles to see my newly glowing sister. Posted by Picasa
